Mike was making himself a salad for lunch. He went for the croutons and the glass M & M jar (another of my secrets that everyone knows about) launched from above the fridge to the tile floor. It was going to happen someday. Some glass went 30 feet, other shards mysteriously turned a corner. He put the dogs out and waited for me to come home and clean it up.
