My husband told me, he saw a squirrel in our garden today :D
It's years ago that I watched one of these cute animals here. I've no idea if it was only passing through, or if it lives nearby.
But if it comes back, it is warmly welcomed. I found this feeder and hope that it works. (Must find a better solution for attachment, but the ugly plastic cable ties are okay for the moment). It would be great to watch squirrels...please keep your fingers crossed :)
If you put out food, they will visit. They like peanuts, not sure about the apples. They like stealing my birdseed from the feeder. It seems they are fond of the black oil sunflower seeds that we put out for Cardinals.
@grannysue Thank you for your helpful tips (I wasn't sure about peanuts). I found this feeder in our cellar and filled it with what I had in the kitchen ... less muesli for me ;)

@momamo@ninaganci Many thanks for your kind comments. I live in a town, the woods are some kilometers away from here. Probably we don't have many squirrels here. But I'll keep my eyes open.
