This little cat lived in our garden four and a half years, together with her buddy. Some time before, both were caught and neutered by the animal shelter, and one ear tip was cut off. It's a big part of the ear which is missing. Now you know, why I was worried about Joshi's beautiful ears. Blessedly they cut off only a very little part of the ear nowadays :) It is less painful after waking from anesthesia. And the body language isn't affected.

@kchuk Thank you, Elyse. Yes, she was. I don't know what happened to her, some day she wasn't here anymore :'( Her buddy was grieving and searching for her a few weeks, then he also disappered. A bit queer...
I guess this is not the best area for outdoor kitties :-(

I just wanted to show, how far an ear was cut off some years ago, if feral cats were caught and neutered. It's much less today.
