Bay Scallops

I didn't like any of the photos I took today, so this is a filler photo from December. My husband dug these bay scallops and I was amazed they really do have a row of blue eyes. They also kept opening and shutting in a spooky manner.

The sound did freak me out, Paula! When they snap shut, it's pretty loud. Sherri Jo, now my daughter wants an iPhone! We can't believe you can take such fabulous photos with a phone.

This is a great shot. Great composition and focus... but it totally makes my skin crawl to look at now that I know those are eyes!!
