My husband came home from work today with a craving for oatmeal cookies, so he whipped up a batch. He got creative and added coconut and mini chocolate chips. Even though it's not exciting, this was the most interesting photo of the day and we all enjoyed the cookies.
Making memories. Listen, this woulda been such a production at my house to see my husband getting into the kitchen to make anything! I would've had to send it to the daily paper for a front page headline! ;)
He was so single minded about it that he walked straight into the kitchen when he got home. It kind of surprised me, even though he is a chef by profession. Brooke, I'm so glad we aren't living in the 50's. My husband cooked dinner tonight too. I just made the side dishes, but he cooked up some flounder with lemon caper sauce. It was a yummy evening around here.
