Now that I've attempted a hummingbord, I now have even more respect for those who have captured one flying. Wow, they move so fast it's hard to focus! It was another long work day, and this was taken while I was actually interviewing a Boy Scout about earning his Eagle Scout rank. We were sitting in his backyard and I had my camera handy because I had to take his photo to go along with the story I will write tomorrow. It really was the only photo I had time to take besides those of the Boy Scout.
That blurred fence looks really cool--it was blue on my screen in the thumbnail,,,thought it was abstract at first. :-) Love your little humming bird--he looks chill man
Nice capture! They are fast and hard to get any good shots of. We had humming bird feeders on our porch in California and I tried many times to get photos of them but they always came out blurry. Congrats on this one. You're making progress with your new camera.
