At the Helm

Stopped by the Eastham side of Town Cove today for a photo shoot. This was my favorite, because I have always wanted a small boat and a few lobster pots. Someday...

It all came together today. I like how all the color is at the front, and then fades into the glue-grey of the water. Nicely composed.

Great shot! We used to keep Sorcerer's Apprentice, our 23' O'Day sailboat (that now belongs to my brother-in-law) in Town Cove! It was such a pretty spot, but that cut at Nauset was just too dangerous to deal with on all but the flattest of days. We only made it out to open water three or four times over the four summers we were there.
