Love it. Glad you pointed out the flag on the shed. I didn't notice it at first, but you're right, it does add the little something that makes this scene so special.
I agree Laurie!
fabulous photo!
I love taking pics of old barns
there has been so many times I've been driving on a country road and wanted to take a photo of one of tese properties but I've always hesitated! So one day I said screw ti and I got off the side of te road and went to take a photo and I hjad an angry farmer on a tractor almost kill me =(
yes. here's a perfect example of what you have that we don't! just a perfectly composed, beautifully antiquated-looking scene. love that rickety shed and the rickety fence in the back of the barn. and, of course, those fall colors are extraordinary!
and, yes, that IS a phone booth! leave it to you to notice that! I was so surprised myself when I looked at the image later on my computer. I had thought about cloning it out, but it's such an oddity that I left it.
Gosh, I've been a Faving fool tonight! This is no exception! This is classic Americana right here, captured beautifully, right down to the fall foliage and the flag on the shed! Awesome!
a super suggestion that temps one to use the magnifier.......... I might try this sometime too.............what I really like is the little bird on the peak of the roof........... it would prove to be a real eye strainer even under the magnification....... :)
