I can't resist the flowers that are hanging on and still looking good. I'm dedicating this photo to my Aunt Shirley (@sabanford) because whenever I see dahlias I think of her and my Uncle Foster, who grows what seems like thousands of these every year. In the summer, there are little bouquets of these beauties in every color all over their house.
This year my aunt sold dahlia bulbs as a fundraiser for the local library where she is very involved.
I love the Dahlia! There are so many different kinds and I have never seen one that isn't beautiful! My sister is a Librarian so the fundraiser you aunt had, just makes me love this shot more! :-)

Beautiful dahlia. And of course I love your dedication of this photo to my folks. Dad's dahlias are really amazing. I love to see how their garden changes all throught the year.
