This is my first hydrangea photo, which is kind of funny because hydrangeas are Cape Cod. Almost every yard has one and many people have whole hedges of them. Brides use them as bouquets in weddings and florists turn them into dried floral wreaths.
Last year I tried to photograph them, but could never quite capture them properly. I'm not sure I did so here, but it was fun to play with them today.
Blue. Soil must be basic. From what I've heard, blue flowers indicate a basic soil. Pink flowers indicate the soil has a more acidic content to it. They are very similar to litmus paper.
it seems fitting to give you my email on your hydrangea photo, since that is what I FINALLY posted today. . .just love these colors! I just want to keep in touch, even if only briefly - so here' smy email: (get ready, its a tricky one): stepheesue@gmail.com :))
@stepheesue I think it is fitting that while you were commenting on my photos, I was already composing an email to you. That email address is not tricky to me at all. I saw stepheesue in my inbox almost every day for over a year. XOXOXOXO
