Candid photographey is a challenge I'd like to explore further, because it intrigues me. I love candid photos, but find them a challenge. You have to move stealthy or it is no longer a candid. Basically, the choice was to stalk strangers, family members or pets. I chose a combo of the last two.
@westcoastwallis About that bokeh...embarrassing to admit the Christmas decs are still up. I love my weiner dog and of course the man obsessed with crossword puzzles.
I still have done Christmas stuff up too. It seem so anticlimactic to take it all done when the rest of the winter stretches out before you, with early night fall and stuff.
I LOVE the lighting in this photo, and also that your dog has allowed to husband to photobomb the shot. To me, it's all about that regal daschund pose. :-D
What a cute pair! I need to hit up the portraits/people/street photography. I purchased a smaller camera (on backorder) so hopefully I can get some sneaky shots!
