I thought I had already taken my photo of the day, but as I drove my son to work, I noticed a sunset brewing so I headed for the nearest beach to once again risk frostbite. The wind was blowing so hard that sand was pelting my face, so this was an accidental favorite. I love the dual focal points of the sun and the big and unusual splash on the shore of the bay.
I also love that sunset was at 5:23, and the earth has rotated just enough to capture a sunset over the bay. Summer is coming!
