Christmas Island Coastline from the blowholes

There 's not much in the way of beaches around the coast here and characterised by limestone pinnacles above the volcanic bedrock, other places cliffs up to 60m rise above the sea. The blowholes themselves have an amazing sound with spray rising many metres into the air through the various fissures in the limestone.
The sound is more impressive, I think that is evidence that there is dragons living under the island and the sound is them breathing and snoring

Awesome shot. Certainly not a nice coastline to get shipwrecked on but magnificent scenery. Love the layers and the lighting.

love this shot. The layers of hazy limestone are awesome. I can even hear the roar of the dragon from here!
