There is something a little disturbing about a bird with bright red eyes
Metallic Starling - Manus Island PNG. This morning I went for a walk for exercise, the mornings are a little cooler than the rest of the day. I took my camera as I wanted to try for some bird shots. My telephoto lens (150-300mm) on my conveniently compact and light weight Olympus OM-D EM-5 is a lot slower than my 70-200 f2.8 for my Canon 5DII - so it is not so great for bird shots as the Canon, but it is light and easy to carry so means I am more likely to have it with me. It was pretty good for some lovely butterflies and dragonflies I saw on my walk.
