At the moment I am living on a Navy ship which is parked just off our island, we catch a small boat from the ship to the shore each day and back again in the evening. It is an odd situation. Very strange for some 200+ civilians to be housed in a naval vessel and probably even odder for the 160 Navy and Army personnel who are her crew.
@bobfoto we did the first day ..... "it's fun to stay at the YMCA" ...... then they realsied that singing "In the Navy, you can sail the seven seas ..." was probably quite apt .....
