I was fascinated by this man weaving cloth on a hand-powered loom at Thoo Mweh Khee Migrant School in Mae Sot, Thailand. The pattern was determined by the color of thread in the shuttle and by the positions of four foot pedals. The cloth was woven at just under two picks (horizontal threads) per second. I also recorded the sound that it made.
