Time to charge the batteries in this gizmo overnight. It's an adapter that fits old Nikon (or compatible) 35mm SLR camera lenses onto a video camera. The batteries run a motor that spins a ground glass disk inside the black box. The SLR lens focuses an image on the ground glass, and the video camera picks it up from there.
