Matilda was in out garden again this morning. Luke caught her. Neither us or the neighbours can work out where she gets through. Luke thinks she has a tunnel, like The Great Escape. Honestly our back garden is very Nick Park sometimes.
This is a lovely shot. I wonder if my grandson will ever pose properly for me!
If determined enough the hen could get over the fence. Hens in a neighbouring allotment to my daughter can get over fencing which is about 8 foort high!!
@frankhymus So do I, and Luke is so olive skinned and dark haired it really suits him. @purplehaze12 Yes we think that they are coming over the fence as well, although it is only Matilda who is here most days. My grandchildren are such posers! Never have any problem. @henrir Very cheeky! @agima Sneaky indeed, but very amusing and the grandkids love them,
Nice shot. It looks like she doesnt mind being handled :-) its amazing what a chicken will put its mind to. We used to have one who after laying an egg, would then casually flutter over the 6ft fence and visit the neighbors chickens.

Great shot with them both :)
