This is the first quarter of the throw I am crocheting. It has been raining for a good part of the day and I thought I wouold take the opportunity to stitch them together. I have almosy completed the next 30 squares for the second quarter.
I never thought I would get the hang of crochet beyond the simple 'granny squares' but thanjs to Maggie from our local wool shop I have finally mastered the tension thing. I'm quite pleased with this.
This looks interesting to do Lesley and the yarn looks nice and soft. I'm busy with one for Dylan but doing basically the same pattern of squares only using different colours and it gets a bit monotonous. Aiming at 72 squares and I've done 64.
