Probably the last of the season from a local roadside seller. Hedge veg as it's known round here.

I like ripened tomatoes fried better than green, which is a Southern delicacy. (You may have heard of the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes" or red the book)

As a child living in Suffolk, I remember my parents often coming home with hedge veg!
