@palusami - no I have not! I didn't know there was a lomo shop here! I'm so excited now!! :) I'm def gonna go, as I do love my lomo :)
How come you know so much about Jakarta? Have you lived here previously?
@lily I know you love your lomo:) My husband lives in Jakarta now. He has been commuting here and back once a month for 8 months now and lives in Le Meridien-just down from Grand Indo. We have been to visit twice so far but Im sure there will be many more visits in the next year and once Mac finishes school here in PP and goes to NZ for uni I can finally move there too.
@palusami - Oh I thought you were both based in PP, that must be hard for you to be apart like that. How do you feel about the prospect of moving to Jakarta? Do you like the city? I must confess that I am not head over heels in love with this city, I think it has to do with not being able to walk anywhere and every time I wanna go out I have to take a taxi and then spent ages in traffic jams... In Copenhagen I would just hop on by bike and go where ever I wanted, here I sometimes feel a bit trapped. However I think this place is already slowly growing on me, maybe it is just a matter of getting used to a slightly different way of life. Today we went to Kota and Glodok (the old part of the city) and that was awesome - crumbling old buildings, people on foot, bicycles, lots of colours and smells and you could walk around a bit! :)
