We experienced the most amazing sunset I have seen in a long, long time at Prambanan Temple near Yogya in Indonesia. We had wandered away from the main temple complex to the furthest temple, and it was so beautiful - there was no one else around, so having it all to ourselves made it very special. After declaring it our favorite temple we sat down and enjoyed the gorgeous show that mother nature put on as the sky changed from blue to pink, to yellow to orange, and then from purple to the deep dark of a tropical night. It was one of those magic on earth moments :)
@palusami You should definitely go, Yogyakarta is well wort the effort! You can fly there cheaply with amongst others airasia, or you can catch a train. We loved exploring the kraton (palace), Taman Sari (water palace), the main produce marked, the bird market and prambanan is only a 40 min busride away from the city center. Just walking around the streets of Yogya is lovely too. Also if you haven't seen Borobodur yet you should make time for that :)
