@viranod - hi Nod, sorry I didn't reply right away, I had to ask my friend where the temple was first - I didn't remeber the name :) But it is called Wat Tipwaree and there is a map here: http://365project.org/lily/365/2012-01-12
@lily Oh.... that is fine! From the photos it seems you were having a lot of fun in Thailand, which is great!!
Walking around the streets and shooting photos of people going about doing their own things are also fun, and I believe as a "farang" (foreigner) you can get away with doing that all (well, most) of the time!
Glad you choose to come here for holidays!
@viranod - I'm actually not here on holiday, I've moved here with my boyfriend and we are planning on staying for about 2 years :)
Maybe you are right that people will be more tolerant of a farang running around taking photos, though I often wish I could blend in a bit better :)
@lily Cool,so you are going to work here? Is it private company or international agencies like the UN or something? I am with the Bank of Ayuthaya at the moment.
@viranod - I am planning on doing my master degree here, I would like to study International Development Studies at Chulalongkorn. I've seen the Bank of Ayutthaya around, it is the yellow one right? :)
@lily That is great! Chula is the top univedrsity here. And yes, that yellow color bank. I work at the head office in Rama 3 near Chaopraya river and the suspension bridge (on Bangkok side).
