The lovely light of the north! Haven't used films i a long time but took my old camera and films to Finland last two weeks, Had to wait for week for the result, but looking forward to it!
this is one of the best shots I've seen on here for a long time. I love the jumping dog and the light. FAAAVVVV its a great photograph. Why don't you shoot in film more often.
@chewyteeth - wow thank you Dave, that is quite a compliment coming from you!!! :) I might start shooting in film more, I brought two 35mm camera with me from Denmark, one of them is another USSR camera, I don't even really know what it is called - it says something in Russian on it... The other one is a German made Regula Sprinty B. I can't wait to try them out, do you have any experience with a Regula?
you gotta take a pic of the Russian and let me see it, I'll recognise it for sure, I've been shopping for Russian cameras for ages.
I haven't used a sprinty, has it got a light meter? Looks quite nice, I'd be interested to see what it does!
@lily
well I don't know how bright it is in thailand, but I've got a camera with no light meter in it and I pretty much just leave it at 125th of a second and 5.6 f stop and its always fine. ;) though there's loads of light-meter apps now for i phone and android. Can't wait to see the results from these two. do you get them from ebay or a junk shop or where?
@chewyteeth - thanks for the tip, I've now set the Regula to that. And yeah I bought them off Ebay a year or two ago, then they've just been sitting in a box in relative's basement in Denmark - I'm quite happy to be reunited with them again now :)
I don't have an iphone or any thing like that, at the moment I actually don't really have a working phone :) I must get around to get one.
