Grand Palace on a grey day

I went to the Grand Palace yesterday on an assignment for the Danish newspaper; Politiken that I sometimes freelance for. They wanted a piece on how the demonstrations in Bangkok has affected tourists (especially Danish tourists). So I went searching for Danes (e.i looking for blond hair) at the Grand Palace, at a distance the Russians can fool you!
If you wanna see the article it is here: http://politiken.dk/rejser/rejsenyt/sundogsikker/ECE2142908/danske-rejsende-i-bangkok-uroen-fylder-ikke-meget/

Btw it was kinda horrible at the Grand Palace - you pay 500baht (!!) to jostle around with tour group after tour group of Chinese and Russian tourists... And yes the temples are pretty - but so are all other free temples in Thailand. Any who - just my two cents :)
Your description made me laugh. Love that you get to contribute to the newspaper. Very impressive.

Fantastic rooflines. You managed great color, especially considering the flat light.

@camim - it is 15,5 US$, you can get quite a lot for that here :) For example is a cheap meal on the street or in a canteen 25-30 baht, and a bus ride is between 7-14 baht
