Tarsier!

This adorable little creature is a tarsier, a highly endangered animal only found in a few isolated spots in the Philippines and in Indonesia. We paid a visit to the tarsier sanctuary on Bohol island in the Philippines and spotted this guy!

...speaking of "other worldly"! What an amazing little creature...I've heard of them, but they're in no zoo I've ever visited! So nice to know of someone who's seen them...you got a wonderful photo!

@Weezilou - yes they are pretty rare. It is one of my favourite little critters alongside the Slow Loris, have you ever seen one of those?

@lily again, another name I know...looked it up but not sure I've seen one. Their eyes look remarkably like "popular paintings" in the 60's by Keane. My art teachers hated those pieces saying they were Kitchy and cloying...I agree! Those eyes belong perfectly here on these animals!
