The Rice Terraces of the Cordilleras Mountains in the Philippine are a fantastic sight! These 2000-year-old terraces were carved into the mountains, without the aid of machinery, the people created these terraces to provide level steps where rice can be planted. In 1995, they were declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
I am often reminded of the wide variety of humans when I see photos like this. She looks like she is dressed up in her very best clothes, and the hat is amazing. A very nice informal portrait.
