HELP! Which one do you prefer?

Today I had the first day of the photography course I've signed up for :) The assignment for tomorrow was to photograph a stranger! Not really my cup of tea, but I managed to find this handsome fellow and he was very sweet and let me take a couple of photos.
NOW the big question, tomorrow in class shall I show the first one with the serious face, the smiley one or go with the diptych seen here? Please advise :)

I like both and the diptych is wonderful. But I prefer the smiley one if just showing one :-)

They are both good! But I think I would choose the left one as he is looking thoughtful and a little unsure which makes the photo interesting for me. Good luck!

Left one! I think his eyes are really clear on that one, and I like the straight on, serious look. Hope you got his contact info to send the pictures to him!

I vote for the smiley. I like that it is closer. The bravery of photographing a stranger is to get up close and personal.
