I started this project in 2013 - that seems like yesterday...that seems like a lifetime ago. I haven't done well during this pandemic - my moods range from anger to sadness to cautiously hopeful. Looking at this (edited) photo from 7 years ago reminds me to count my blessings - my family and friends (though I can't see them in person right now) are well - I am retired (so no working from home - how I hated those 5 months) - and I am still a part of a caring and talented 365 community (which has always been a place of positivity and support) Now on to year 8. Thanks for dropping by ♥♥♥
Great capture and Congratulations on completing your 7th year!
I totally understand about the pandemic as I have had a range of emotions, too. I'm glad you are continuing.
Yes, anger, depression, loss of employment, loss of businesses, loss of freedom of movement/socializing, loss of school classrooms are the end result and one wonders how we managed through three previous (1958, 1969, 2009), serious pandemics without destroying millions of lives and livelihoods.
It really doesn't feel like that many years. It feels like just yesterday when I started my account. I hope you can be inspired to keep taking pictures.
Con gratulations. This year has been a challenge for everyone. I too have been here since 2013 and I have been finding it a challenge on occasion to find daily photos close to home. Hopefully 2021 will be a better year for all of us.
Here's to 2021 - things hare got to start heading up. I know what you mean by mood swings due to this. I'm having to work hard to not be annoyed at those who pooh pooh it - let's just get behind it and get it gone! This is a wonderful photo by the way!
Congrats on completing 7 years! I’ll cross the 7-year mark next month too so I know what a commitment it is and yes, the past 5 months have been the most difficult. Great that you are continuing.
I think we never know how our words may touch others in ways we least expect it. After my first, lovely get-away, my spirits have plunged, and we tend to think, I know, that we're going through this alone. At first glance, I thought, "Wow! Lucky you to have such a nice day out!"...but for all of us, these are the good memories. I can't imagine fully leaving this site and the people with whom I share it...
