Fish are frozen and the cotton is too (apologies to composer George Gershwin for my rewrite of his lyrics) Minus 5 degrees F last night. Now I will add my gloves to my ensemble and head to work!
What, no gloves here? I walked the dog with thick gloves on and came home with screaming burning pained hands. It is friggin cold out there. Stay warm, my friend!!!
@amandal Yes, the heavy duty gloves are ready to go. I tried to keep them on for the photo but couldn't set up the camera with them on adn get into place fast enough (must get remote!) Thanks for stopping by - stay inside if you can today!
Oh yeah, get those gloves on. My hands are always the first to get cold. It is in the 30s here this AM.....I can't even imagine anything minus zero......cool (to say the least) shot!
I'm in agreement about the gloves, but I understand the difficulty of working the camera with them. I just about froze my fingers the other day and it was only 26F. I can't imagine going gloveless with anything less. Your shot really conveys the message.
Oh, my, gives me flashbacks to NH. I thought I was going to freeze to death last winter. It's even cold here in NC this morning. Only 16 right now. That's much colder than it got last winter, from what I understand. But, at least it's sunny and bright, not a cloud in the sky (which is bad news because it will be frigid again tonight). Very creative way to show the cold.
