While sitting around the dinner table we were discussing a trip we took to Disney World a few years ago. It was the first (and only) time for all of us, and the kids loved it. When I asked my husband if he’d like to go back sometime, he looked at me in horror. Amusement parks just aren’t his forte. The most magical thing about Disney was how quickly our money disappeared so given that we have most of the world left to see, we’ll probably want to put our money toward other destinations. Still, every kid should get to experience it once. And who can resist Mickey Mouse?
Great shot...
I have been to Disneyland.. World and Euro Disney..would love to go to the one in Japan too one day.
and I am taking my 5 yr old son in April and we have been researching and getting ideas of what to do, and what rides to go on first.. etc. The planning is half the fun..
This reminded me of a neat place in Zionsville. If you live near that side of town, and never have, you must visit Carter's Antique Toy Museum. Lots of old Mickey Mouse things in there.
@moncooga We’ve been there! It’s a really fun place. We rode all of the old mechanical rides in the basement. Unbelievably huge collection of old toys!
@mrssmith@girlneedsahobby@nikkers Thanks! Disney is really good at theming. I think I enjoyed our hotel as much as anything. We stayed in the Wilderness Lodge and it was pretty awesome. Overall, though, I just expected to me more blown away by it than I was.
