I tried out a low fat, low sugar recipe for creme brulee tonight. It was surprisingly good! Next to eating eat, torching it is the most fun. Once last summer my teenage son called me at work to ask if he could make creme brulee. Kind of an odd request, but I told him to go ahead. I realized later that he was looking for an excuse to use the torch. At least he didn’t burn the house down in the process.
