I snooped around the yard a bit today to see what changes spring is bringing. I was excited to discover that a gourd birdhouse I hung out last year finally has a tenant! This little Black-capped Chickadee came flitting out when I walked by so I ran to get my camera. I hid out inside the spruce next to the one with the birdhouse and waited . . . and waited! He finally came back so I could get my shot. I’m so excited to be a host to this little bird family.
the little gourd birdhouse is really sweet! And you guys have the coolest names for birds, Chickadee! That is cool too... we just have Galahs and Cockys and Budgies...
