Stitchin’ in the Kitchen by lisabell

Stitchin’ in the Kitchen

I took the day off to shop for fabric for valances for my kitchen windows. I’ve decided to make indoor awnings, but I don’t have a pattern so I spent the better part of my afternoon trying to figure out how to construct them, taking measurements and doing lots of math. I love my trusty old sewing machine. I bought it over about twenty-five years ago to use while sewing my wedding dress. It’s sewn many curtains, quilts, pillows, and Halloween costumes over the years, and it still doesn’t miss a stitch.
great macro shot

@robd57 Thank you. I love my macro lens even more than I love my sewing machine!

Nice shot. I haven't used mine in a while, but I would never give up my sewing machine! Looks like the fabric is really nice!
