Along with extreme temperatures our area has been suffering from lack of rain. I was glad to see the sky open up and bless us with a torrential downpour. I think I could hear the plants and trees sigh in relief.
Hallelujah! We had a little sprinkling, but it was helpful so we count it a blessing! You had a good one! The black and white makes me feel like it's one of those old news reels- love the tone it sets for the shot.

@coastandcactus I have friends in Texas and Arizona who have been hoping for rain. I feel a little selfish complaining about the lack of here because we haven’t suffered at all in comparison.
Mmmm, I do miss the smell of a summer rain storm. I thought it was going to rain here last week, but it must have saved itself for your area instead. Love the grain and the tones on the photo.
