This morning Bernie & I had the pleasure of an early morning drive to Mt Tamborine in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
What a wonderful time we had. Coffee & cake sittng in the sun.
I spied these flowers on the sideof the road & had Bernie stop while I took this photo.
They were so fresh looking! :D
What an attractive photo Lois. Really like this. Are the petals sort of papery? They look like something you can dry for winter arrangements. And Mt Tamborine...what a great name!
They are just gorgeous, so delicate...I love that spring is here. We didn't have an opportunity to say hello as Ike only reconized you when he heard your name called, I can't believe how close we have been without knowing it...your local park for anzac day is really really close to us..I would love to catch up and meet a fellow 365er, I'll get my details to you :-)
Such a pretty shot. They look similar to a small daisy-like flower we have in the U.S. called Daisy Fleabane. According to my research, you could put it in your dog's bed because it deters fleas. Never tried it so I don't know if it works.
I looked for something like this on Google, and they appear to look like WhitePaper Daisies. What a lovely picture they make! Nice to read about the lovely day you and your husband spent!
I haven't been home to catch the news, but we're hoping the hurricane doesn't get all the way up here. Hedging their bet, we have friends arriving two days early to avoid any possible bad weather. Hoping it's not so bad so we can get out and do some sightseeing!
