Bernie is on Long Service Leave at present and plans not to return to work at this time.
Our son Gabe, thought that his father should have a gift to mark this momentous occasion.
He suggested that we buy his father an ISOMAC "GRANMACININO" coffee grinder so he can grind his coffee beans fresh every day.
Bernie was so overcome with this unexpected gift.
Gabe had a plaque put on the side engraved with the following words:-
BERNIE - DAD - GRANDPA
"AGE ONLY MATTERS IF YOU ARE A CHEESE"
A VERY HAPPY RETIREMENT TO YOU.
YOU EARNED IT. NOW ENJOY IT.

Thank you son, you made your father's day with your thoughtfulness as always.
Of course it was put to good use a few times this weekend.
Gabe also roasted some beans for his father - hmmmmm!
Nothing like freshly brewed coffee. :)
