Today Bernie & I took a Canadian friend down the Gold Coast.
She had never seen it before as she lives in Alberta & leaves for home on Tuesday.
We started at Southport & drove right through to Byron Bay, having a delicious lunch at Brunswick Heads on the way.
Top left - looking south from Byron Bay Lighthouse, Surfers Paradise Beach, Q1 - the tallest building in Australia.
The main shot is of two awesome aluminium sculptures at Mermaid Beach.
The weather was perfect as you can see.
Enjoy!
Did you all have a great weekend? I do hope, so because I did :)
Very nice collage. love seeing the places on here that I'll never get to see. best way to see them is through the eyes of your company...so refreshing.
Wonderful collage..and I love that sculpture...too cool! I would have much preferred to be spending time in your part of the world this weekend as we had to put up with Hurricane Irene.
@snowy@mary1440@hobgoblinwychwo@steveh@sarasdadandmom@bruni@hwy61 - thanks everyone. It was a very hot day, but so beautiful. You never know, you may get to see it one day :). We plan to be in your part of the world next year, so may meet up for a photo shoot :). By that I mean we will be in different parts of the globe.
