It's my birthday today & Bernie & I spent a couple of days with my girlfriend & her husband Richard at their home on Mt Tamborine.
Cheryl & I have been friends for 40 years.
We met on our first day at Yeronga High School & have kept in touch ever since.
Cheryl & her husband Richard have lived most of their married life overseas, but we have always written to each other & visited when they came back to Australia.
It was so good to see them again.
Although we haven't spoken for 2 years, we just picked up where we left off - that's what friends are all about.
I had a wonderful birthday!
