Today Bernie & I went fishing & crabbing up to the old Rail Bridge on the Brunswick River.
Mt Chincogan is in the background.
One of my most favourite areas.
The government in it's wisdom, closed the railway line between Mullumbimby, Murwullimbah & Byron Bay about 15 years ago.
It was a great service for the community.
Sometimes I wonder who makes these decisions.
Just when rail travel is coming back into vogue too.... stupid government officials probably don't know what a rail holiday looks like if they trip over one... :P
Beautiful - like the composition, and my husband likes old railway bridges! Yes, we live very near St. Neots Road (actually we're in Eaton Socon) and we often go to the gravel pits at Little Paxton - a great place to see water birds.
