Yesterday we had lunch with some dear friends Heather & Gary.
Heather is my best friend.
I first met Heather in 1954 in Grade one at Junction Park Primary School. We went to Sunday School together, played together, lived not far from one another, as well as going out socially. We spent a wonderful childhood together. I was with her when she met Gary at a Fortitude Valley Church "Disco". She was my bridesmaid.
We can go for months without talking or seeing each other & can take up where we left off, as if we were never apart.
They live in the next neighbourhood.
We all enjoyed a lovely day & have agreed we will do this on a regular basis.
We are truly blessed.
