Orange Tree

In the 1950’s hundreds of acres of citrus trees in our area were replaced with housing. Our neighborhood was the first to be built and it’s great to see an occasional orange tree that was left standing because it fit nicely in the backyard.
The blooms are beautiful. I grew up in Florida with citrus trees in my yard but had forgotten what the blooms look like... so glad you spotted this one and shared your photo.

I bet the scent is fabulous. I remember when we lived in Cyprus whenever we drove through the orange groves the scent was almost overpowering.
