I figure if I take enough moon shots I will eventually get a good one. Of course a 500mm lens would probably help but that is not going to happen so will keep trying with my 200mm. This was taken about 2:00 p.m. so I darkened the sky a little because it was a bright blue and highlighted the branches to look like the sun was setting.
@shotsbymeg Thanks for the nice comment. This is one of those shots that drives me crazy. Finally after reading on the internet someone told me that almost all of these types of photographs are daytime shots. I am going to see if I can get a full moon shot through the trees either at sunrise or sunset.
