@liquidmav Thanks Jack. In fooling around with this I found that I needed a longer exposure to be able to zoom the lens. Also greater dof gave more detail in the zoom and I did better zooming out from 70mm to 28mm rather than zooming in. I also need the camera on a tripod to hold it steady.
