I really like this one Laura. I see this is f8 - I think I get it now - the intention blur should be applied over an even field of focus. That is what I think I did wrong. Thanks for the tip on the discussion page.
@ltodd Thanks Lyn. When I do my shots I use various different apertures and also "front" focus and "rear" focus to see which effect I like better. I tend to prefer "front" focus but the ornament with the branches is "rear" focused on the wall.
