I initially intended to repeat yesterdays vintage style today, but I thought this composition was unusual, and more in keeping with a contemporary recipe illustration. This was my journey into the world of food-styling and 'trade' shots.
Using my mother's demi-tasse cups & gem scone trays makes the shot very personal. I hope she would like it.
P.S. My son ate the scones (all of them!) ten minutes after taking this shot, so they must have tasted OK.
I think it isa fabulous shot. I should tell you about the Better Homes and Gardens competition this month but I don't think I will because then I will have no chance of winning! :)
