My first collage - West African master drummer Mohamed Bangoura with drums and kora (a 21-string bridge-harp). I felt I couldn't be limited to just one single photo to represent the concert. This is my attempt at capturing the amazing sensory explosion of sound, colour, rhythmn - and life!
@nicolecampbell the concert was utterly fantastic - crazy & wild on so many levels. That is why this shot is..kind of ...everything competing for the brains attention. I wish I could have been able to photograph 'rhythm',or his hands that were so fast they were invisible...
such fantastic colour, I have been to see Mohamed Bangoura perform before and he is awesome, the harp wasn't really my thing but what did on the drums was absolutely incredible :)
