At the moment I live so very far from the coast that this shell is a tangible reminder of my past, and perhaps my future. It has travelled with me across Australia when ever I have moved.
I was experimenting with changing shadow shapes & their proportions by changing my position as well as the position of the shell in the sunlight. I learnt heaps, and the manual macro lens and I are (very) slowly becoming friends.
@tabbycat Thankyou so much :)) - everyone has such different ideas about what minimalism means.... I probably could have framed it for the theme a little better, but I was concentrating SO hard on the lighting I forgot to 'spread my options'!
