I pass this dam every morning but this was the first time I had noticed the lovely red canoe. The sun struggling through the fog and several ducks having a lazy quacking conversation, made for a very peaceful scene.
I would have loved a few more composition options, but I did not stay long as I was shivering quite a bit perched on the busy cycleway, leaning over an electric fence. I was happy to get even this one!
Very atmospheric - a lovely shot.

@busylady thankyou so much for you kind words. I have never thought I captured landscapes that well, but 365 is always 'nudging' me to keep working on it. This is definitely better than when I started 365, so my thankyou goes to everyone for the inspiration and support to persevere. :)

Just catching up on photos missed while travelling and I really love his one. I am a sucker for any photos with water, but the mist in this in addition to the striking red canoe make it a fabulous shot! well done

What a beautiful place. It looks so peaceful and quiet. A perfect spot to stop and just relax and think about things

@bkbinthecity thankyou, yes it is a lovely spot. Unfortunately I am always flying past on my way to the office so this was the first time I decided to stop & enjoy the scenery for a few minutes. :)
