One of the guys at work is quite 'full of life' and lives on a property 30 km out of town. During a meeting with @nicolecampbell at lunchtime today, his shoe was uncomfortable, so he took it off ....and out jumped 'Reginald', who proceeded to jump around Nicole's office, resulting in a large amount of squealling!!
....yes that's correct folks .... poor Reginald had been 'walking around' (INSIDE the shoe) for at least 4 hours!
so...Mr. Product Sales Manager..... how can you really NOT notice a LIVE frog is inside your shoe for 4 hours???????
PS: Reginald, who I think is a Verreaux's Frog, was given some water and taken to a large leafy garden and he hopped away soon afterwards.
(hey.... this sounds totally implausable I know... but honestly, it happened!!)
I can confirm that this story is in fact true and that the squealling was come from me. I hate things that jump towards me. I do feel sorry for the frog and I have to agree with Lyn; how do you not know that you have a frog in your shoe for four hours!
I find this story hilarious but this happened to my brother-in-law also but he had worn his ALL day....how the hell could you not feel it????? The frog was not a happy camper after this time but he was still alive!!!!
Amazing frog pic...post squash!!!!! He lloks in quite good shape...pardon the pun!!!
... but think of poor regie who now has a 30km hope back to his friends and family!! :( poor thing. It was a funny moment in the office i will agree, which resulted in a great photo opp and nice result for Lyn. :).
